[0:00] In this video, you’ll add a new student, and invite their parent or guardian.
Your students
[0:04] The Students tab lists students with their status, their devices, and their parents or guardians.
[0:11] For a teacher, My students starts switched on, so you see only the students you teach. Switch it off to see everyone in the studio.
Adding a student
[0:20] To add someone new, press Add student.
[0:24] A student needs only a display name: a first name, or a nickname. TempoSuite doesn’t ask for a child’s email, or any other details.
[0:35] Press Add, and the new student’s page opens.
Inviting a parent
[0:39] Nothing is collected about a student, and their app can’t be linked, until a parent or guardian agrees.
[0:45] Type the parent’s email, and press Send invitation. The link goes only to the parent, so the consent really comes from them.
[0:53] Back on the list, Lucas shows Waiting for parent, until the invitation is accepted.
