Script

[0:00] In this video, you’ll connect a student’s TempoPiano app to your studio, with a one-time code.

Making a code

[0:05] Once a parent has agreed, a teacher or the parent can link the student’s app. It starts on the student’s page.

[0:12] Under Link a device, press the button to make a code.

[0:16] The code works once, and only for fifteen minutes. The countdown shows how long is left, and you can make a new one at any time.

In the app

[0:25] In TempoPiano, the student opens Settings, then Studio, then Join your studio, and types the code. Dashes, spaces and small letters are all fine.

[0:36] The app then shows your studio’s name, colours and logo, and the practice goals and assignments you set for that student.

Linked devices

[0:44] Every linked device is listed under Devices, with when it was linked, and when it was last seen.

[0:52] If a tablet is lost, or handed down, press Remove, and that device stops syncing straight away.
