Practice you can actually see
TempoPiano hears your students play, through a MIDI keyboard or the device’s microphone, scores every note, and tells you how the week went.
- MIDI or microphone
- Works offline
- No practice diaries
It hears the student play
TempoPiano listens through a USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard, or the phone or tablet’s own microphone, and follows the music note by note. On a phone it starts listening by itself when no keyboard is connected. Nothing is recorded: the sound stays on the device.
Every minute reaches you
Minutes practised on each of the last 28 days against the goal, recent sessions with the pieces played, each song’s best stars, and every result in plain words. The app keeps working offline and sends it all when it’s back online, each result exactly once.
Three ways to play
Students learn a passage in Wait mode, build it up in Practice, and prove it in Play. Only Play results count for stars, so a star means the piece was really played.
- Wait mode: the music waits for the right note
- Practice: slow it down, loop a part, one hand at a time
- Play: scored, with stars at 60, 80 and 95% of notes
