[0:00] In this video, you’ll find your way around the Schedule, book a lesson, and see your lessons in your own calendar app.
The calendar
[0:07] The Schedule tab is a calendar, like Google Calendar’s: the week’s lessons as blocks on an hour grid, in the studio’s time zone.
[0:15] Switch between Day, Week, Month and Agenda, or use the small month on the left to jump to any day.
[0:26] My lessons shows the ones you teach. Choose one teacher, or All teachers for the whole studio, each teacher in their own colour.
[0:34] Next week, Leo’s Monday lesson is cancelled. It stays on the calendar, faded and struck through.
[0:41] Click any lesson for its details: here, the reason the family was given.
Booking on the calendar
[0:46] To book a lesson, click an empty time: here, Friday at five.
[0:50] Pick the student. The date and time come from where you clicked, and you can change the length and the place.
[0:57] Switch on Repeats weekly, and it becomes a weekly lesson. For a one-off, leave it off.
[1:03] Press Save. Friday is outside Owen’s usual hours, so TempoSuite says so, and books it anyway.
[1:10] If a teacher already has a lesson at that time, it asks before booking a second one.
[1:16] Lessons can also be dragged to another time or day, and Book a lesson opens the full form.
In your calendar
[1:22] To see your lessons in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, open Your account, from the menu under your name.
[1:33] Under Subscribe in your calendar app, press Make a link.
[1:37] Add that link to your calendar app, and your lessons appear there, kept up to date. Parents can do the same for their children’s lessons.
