Script

[0:00] In this video, a student practises what their teacher assigned, and the teacher sees it done.

On the Home screen

[0:05] When the student opens TempoPiano, what their teacher assigned is on the Home screen, under From your teacher.

[0:12] It shows the due date and the teacher’s note, and each item’s target: here, two stars on Ode to Joy.

[0:21] Tapping the item opens the piece in the mode its target needs. For stars, that’s Play mode.

Playing

[0:27] The song waits for the first key. In this recording, the notes come in as a MIDI keyboard sends them.

[0:32] Every right note sparkles in its own colour, and a streak counts the notes in a row.

[0:38] A note counts within a fifth of a second of its time, and it’s perfect within seven hundredths.

[0:44] The staff scrolls past the playhead, and each key goes down as it’s played.

[0:49] Let’s hear it to the end.

Done

[1:18] Every note on time: three stars. The result goes to the studio as soon as the app is online.

[1:24] Back on the Home screen, the item is ticked: the target is met.

[1:28] In the portal, the assignment is marked done, and the practice shows up on the teacher’s dashboard.
