Script

[0:00] In this video, you’ll upload one of your own arrangements, so your students can practise it in TempoPiano.

The Songs tab

[0:06] Open the Songs tab. It lists the songs your studio has uploaded.

[0:11] They’re visible only inside your studio: there’s no shared catalogue, and no public page.

Uploading

[0:17] Press Upload a song, and choose the file: MIDI, MusicXML, or TempoPiano’s own song format, up to two megabytes.

[0:26] Give it a title and a composer, or leave them, and they’re taken from the file.

[0:31] Read the upload terms. By ticking the box, you confirm your studio has the right to use this music.

[0:38] Press Upload. The server opens the file with the same importer as the app, and refuses it if the app couldn’t play it.

Assigning it

[0:45] The song is listed with its format, its length, and whether it uses both hands.

[0:50] It now comes first in the catalog when you make an assignment, under Studio songs, and the student’s app downloads it on its next sync.
